[vc_row][vc_column][trx_block align=”center” title=”What is Ayurveda?” subtitle=”Ayurveda is the ‘science of life’ and the art of harmonising mind and body.” line=”show” width=”990px”][vc_column_text]Ayurveda is about achieving a healthy and spiritual life, addressing the needs of both body and mind. It is a way of living a healthy life, in harmony with nature and the environment by using herbal medicine and remedies.

The basic concept of Ayurveda includes three biological factors called Vata, Pitha, and Kapha, culminating in achieving a healthy balance of body constitution, through natural means. In addition to that, the identification of Dhatu/Dosha, Prakruti, and Vikruti and the seven types of Dhatus support the balance of the body constitution. All aforementioned factors combined with a healthy individual diet, not only lead to physical and psychological well-being but also helps the individuals to achieve an active and healthy lifestyle.

The purpose of Ayurveda is to promote a healthy life, finding out the root causes of internal or external illnesses, and also proactively protect from unforeseen illnesses. Ayurveda does not only treat symptoms, it mainly focuses on the reasons for illnesses in the body and mind. An Ayurvedic practitioner will create a treatment plan specifically designed for you. They’ll take into account your unique physical and emotional makeup, your primary life force, and the balance between all three of these elements.
The goal of treatment is to cleanse your body of undigested food, which can stay in your body and lead to illness. The cleansing process—called “panchakarma”— is designed to reduce your symptoms and restore harmony and balance. To achieve this, an Ayurvedic practitioner might rely on blood purification, massage, medical oils, herbs, and enemas or laxatives.
Always talk to your doctor before you try Ayurveda or any other alternative medical treatment.
