An accomplished, multilingual Doctor skilled in the practice of Ayurvedic Medicine and Acupuncture stemming from a long lineage of Ayurvedic experts and have been in continuous clinical practice for 25 years principally in Europe. Has eminent expertise in the treatment of chronic disorders which are prevalent in Western society such as diabetes, asthma, arthritis, multiple sclerosis, autoimmune disease, Parkinson, dementia, cholesterol, heart conditions, fertility treatment specializing in men’s issues, and immunity disorders.

Ability to open, manage and provide best-in-class care for patients seeking treatment in a variety of hotel, resort, and clinic settings. Passion for alternative medicine, Strong communication, and teamwork skills, developed within clinical and administrative settings. A Sinhala, English, and German speaker with excellent adaptability and the flexibility and confidence to work for Ayurveda resorts within varying countries.

I am a descendent of a hereditary line of the eminent seventh generation of a traditional, ayurvedic family of Physicians. In 1904, the British government awarded us the silver medal at the Mass in St Louis, America, for medical care, education, scholarship research, and publication of books on traditional medicine. My father, Dr.H.I. Chandrasekera was a former director of the Bandaranaike Memorial Ayurveda Research Institute in Sri Lanka and a professor at the Institute of Traditional Medicine at the University of Colombo Sri Lanka and the Wickramarachchi Ayurveda Institute and the University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka. He was also an adviser to UNDP / WHO on traditional medicine projects.

  • Diagnosed, treated, and educated patients in prevention and treatment using Panchakarma techniques.
  • Experienced in managing medical support staff, managing budgets, and carrying out key administrative duties within each clinic
  • During my time in the Health resorts industry in Germany, I managed the guest relation services to ensure the clients got the expected health services during their stay in the resorts to their utmost satisfaction.
  • Grew clinic opportunities and revenue through word of mouth referrals and introduction of Ayurveda medicine to foreigners outside of Germany, the UK, and other center locales.

My passion and vocation are my ambition. As an Ayurvedic physician, my intention provides initial consultations, with the offer of treatments where needed, both online or in the comfort of your home.
